This opportunity is in the Business Intelligence & Planning Department.

Role Description

In the role of Data Quality Analyst, you will be part of the Business Intelligence & Planning team. You will work closely with business units, technical personnel, and other key stakeholders to ensure the quality and integrity of corporate data. Your contributions will improve decision-making processes by providing accurate and reliable data and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Data Quality Analyst will include:

  • Delivering accurate data to downstream consumers and ensuring data integrity in databases and warehouses.
  • Analyzing and validating data completeness, consistency, and compliance with standards.
  • Investigating and resolving data quality issues, identifying root causes, and recommending solutions.
  • Collaborating with the Data Team to maintain complete and accurate data in the warehouse.
  • Developing and implementing data quality reports, metrics, and monitoring processes.
  • Conducting monthly data quality audits and implementing strategies to improve current processes.

You may also be assigned various projects, such as designing new data validation frameworks or improving KPI tracking systems.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field is required.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience working with data in IT or Finance departments.
  • Proficiency in querying relational databases using SQL.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root-cause analysis and develop action plans.
  • Experience in extracting, analyzing, and reconciling large datasets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in finance or accounting.
  • Experience in data warehouse environments.

The target salary range for this position is $65,000 to $101,000. Compensation will be based on the candidate’s combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location.
