We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Analyst to join our dynamic Data Governance team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our data management strategy and ensuring the integrity of our data assets. Your expertise will be instrumental in elevating our data management practices, enabling us to make informed decisions and deliver exceptional experiences to our residents. JOB DESCRIPTION

What You Will Do as a Data Quality Analyst:

  • Implement and maintain robust data governance standards and policies across our organization.
  • Conduct comprehensive data profiling / reconciliation, and analysis to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and quality issues in our datasets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce data validation procedures and quality control measures.
  • Design and implement data quality rules and processes aligned with business requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Create, data dictionary, glossary, and catalog.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely, effective resolutions to ensure seamless operations.
  • Create and maintain data quality scorecards and conduct regular data audits to measure and improve data quality metrics.
  • Provide data quality advisory services to various departments within the organization.
  • Contribute to data governance initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced SQL Proficiency: The candidate must have strong skills in SQL for querying, updating, and managing data in relational databases. This is crucial for maintaining data integrity and performing complex data manipulations
  • Experience with Databricks: The candidate should have extensive experience using Databricks, which is essential for big data processing and analytics tasks
  • Power BI Skills: Proficiency in Power BI, especially in creating dashboards and reports, is necessary to provide insights and make data accessible to stakeholders
  • Data Governance and Management: A solid understanding of data governance frameworks and data quality management is crucial. This includes knowledge of tools used in data governance, such as data catalogs and quality tools

Analytical Skills:

  • Problem-Solving: The ability to diagnose data issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions is critical. This requires creativity and analytical thinking.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and completeness of data is vital, as minor errors can lead to significant issues.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Collaboration and Teamwork: The candidate should be able to work effectively with multiple teams across the organization, including IT, compliance, and business sectors.
  • Communication: The ability to convey complex data concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences is important. This includes training personnel in data management practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in data governance or management can enhance a candidate's profile.
  • Attributes such as patience, professionalism, integrity, and conflict management are also important for handling sensitive data and resolving issues effectively.

Additional Compensation:

  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
  • Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
