Business Technology Integrators (BTI) Government contracting company located in Upper Marlboro MD, We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Data Quality Analyst / SME to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)  under a high-impact contract supporting the Data Quality Program within the Office of Health Informatics (OHI). This role focuses on driving clinical data quality initiatives, analyzing healthcare datasets, supporting metric development, and contributing to accreditation and quality reporting efforts. This Position does requires US Citizenship and 100% Remote.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and respond to internal and external data quality issue tickets; analyze root causes and recommend solutions .
  • Develop and support clinical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and data quality dashboards for internal and external stakeholders .
  • Conduct informal and formal data quality analytics, including data profiling, trending, and statistical reporting to support VA’s mission .
  • Collaborate with program offices and stakeholders (e.g., Lab Kidney Office, HIM, VEO) to improve clinical data integrity and documentation .
  • Perform record reviews and clinical validation related to electronic quality measures (eQMs), algorithm performance, and clinical use cases.
  • Document metrics, anomalies, and findings in presentations, reports, and dashboards aligned with government deliverables.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required (clinical or healthcare informatics focus preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of healthcare data quality or clinical analytics experience.
  • Familiarity with eQM, CDI, LOINC, SNOMED, and healthcare coding standards.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Power BI, TOAD, Excel, and related tools.
  • Prior experience supporting federal healthcare or accreditation organizations is preferred.
