Job Description:

Capgemini America, Inc. seeks a Quality Analyst Lead based out of its Chicago, IL U.S. headquarters. The employee may also work at various unanticipated locations. S/he will perform the following duties\: serve as QA Lead for PLCC (Pvt Label Credit Cards), Retail, POS, e-Com, Supply Chain and mobile testing engagements; perform phase-by-phase software testing, including requirements/system/integration/program/module testing; complete independent verification and validation of IT products produced by the development process; initiate/maintain client relationships; maintain frequent/direct contact with all client levels; contribute to, and provide coordination for, multiple bid/client proposals; provide advanced level, enterprise-wide software testing including all its processes and tooling, including TMap; review and support design of complex large scale system and functional designs (FSD & SSDs) for clients; provide risk-based reporting and highlight project/program issues and concerns to Leadership; analyze/assess commercial benefits of complex, international Capgemini client engagements; deliver defined revenue targets; coordinate/administer multiple projects or a single, large/complex project; perform complex Test Design and Execution in HP ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) and conduct briefings/training sessions for team members.

 

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering (any), or a closely-related field plus at least 5 years of experience in the job offered, as Test Lead, Quality Assurance Lead, Software Engineer, Systems Analyst Lead, or a related IT position. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, the employer deems that the suitable combination of education, training or experience acceptable is 3 years of study towards U.S. bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering (any), or closely related field plus 3 years of IT experience. The applicant must also have\: any period of experience with all aspects of product testing, including test planning, use case creation, test execution, defect management and reporting  in Test Life Cycle Management; any period of experience performing quality assurance, manual, performance, or automated testing; any period of experience working with QA methodologies, including functional or non-functional testing, best practices and standards;  any period of experience working with Test Director, HPQC, Selenium, Load Runner, WorkSoft, or Cucumber; any period of experience overseeing a team of IT professionals; and any period of experience creating and reviewing of Testing Artifacts right from Test Strategy through Test completion report (wing to wing).
