In this role you will . . .

  • Play an integral role in the Global SAP team where we develop, implementing, and supporting continuous business requirements to SAP fit the IDEXX evolving business

  • Leverage your SAP Manufacturing and Quality Management expertise to develop strong business relationships and to drive successful system/application implementations and support.

  • Analyze, understand and translate business needs into technical requirements that can use as guidelines for developing our quality and manufacturing systems/applications

  • Be part of development/upgrade/enhancement project teams as the analyst lead for quality and manufacturing working with our business, IT Infrastructure and the development groups.

  • Facilitate or participate in testing activities to ensure development work meets user requirements.  Prepare materials and/or conduct end-user training sessions to support use and feature sets for new or updated systems and applications. Create user guides, system workflows and project/process documentation.

  • Follow Internal Audit policies and procedures and provide information as needed.

What you will need to succeed . . .

  • Over 3-4 years of SAP experience, including at least 2 years specializing in SAP Manufacturing with SAP discrete and process (PP-PI) manufacturing applications, inventory management, product costing, and work order settlement. 1 to 2 years of experience working with Quality Management, including quality notification, inspection lot usage decision and certificate of analysis.  Experience with full life cycle implementations is highly desirable.

  • You work well with cross-functional teams and independently to deliver the required functionality within set timelines

  • A strong business acumen, so you can effectively understand and translate requirements into technical solution, document the solution and communicate technical challenges back to the business

  • A willingness to learn/grow your expertise to support rapidly changing technology

  • We are a positively diverse environment and therefore an internationalism & multi-market awareness will serve you well

  • Ability to work off-hours nights and weekends to support implementations and participation in on-call rotation for application support is required

  • Flexibility to travel domestic and internationally based on project needs

  • This role is hybrid and requires being on site 2 days a week.
