ABOUT THE POSITION

Linxup is searching for a talented Software Quality Analyst to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering quality solutions and understands how critical our products are to our customers. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be a part of a growing team and thriving organization. As a Software Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for working with our Product and Software Engineering teams to understand our products, creating and executing manual test plans, and following processes for defect tracking and resolution.

    

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with Software Engineering and Product teams to deliver stable software products

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of our products and their expected behavior

  • Transform business requirements and user stories into test plans

  • Document test cases and steps to ensure reproducibility

  • Generate datasets necessary to test acceptance criteria including error handling

  • Execute manual tests and track results for both new development and regression testing

  • Communicate with team members regarding defects and assist with reproduction and diagnosis

  • Advocate for end users by providing feedback on user experience

  • Includes opportunities for learning to develop automated tests

  • Other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of demonstrable experience in software testing or troubleshooting is required

  • Testing experience in a SaaS environment is a plus

  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills are required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required

  • Experience using API testing tools such as Postman is required

  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies preferred

  • Experience with writing automated tests with Selenium (Java), TestProject or similar tools is a plus

  • Development experience is a plus


WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Monday through Friday
